Sylhet Film Festival in Bangladesh to screen Iran lineup

The 2018 edition of the Sylhet Film Festival in Bangladesh has scheduled to screen a lineup of Iranian short films.

The lineup includes ‘The Wind Suddenly’, ‘My Sister and I’, ‘Thousand of Legends’, ‘The Battle of Sohrab and Gordafarid’, ‘Parrot’ and ‘The Chance’.

The films will go on screen during the 4-day festival at the Sylhet Agricultural University Film Society.

The Sylhet Film festival is an annual film festival, which will showcase full-length features, shorts, experimental films made by young independent filmmakers, including fiction animations and documentaries.

One of the primary missions of the festival is to provide the youth with a platform to showcase their talent in media, provide an advantageous environment for the development of film and other creative works.

The festival is aimed at promoting the study and appreciation of the film by means of screenings, discussions, exhibitions, workshops and related activities.

The 2nd edition of the Sylhet Film Festival is slated for March 3-6, 2018.
